Amenities

  • We have temporary 30 minute parking for loading and unloading available – however there is no long-term parking at Vi Hilbert. Residents can coordinate with Parking Services at Seattle U to get a parking pass for a nearby lot.

  • The building is controlled access. Individuals must be a resident to enter the building after 5pm Monday – Friday, and all weekend. They must also be a resident to utilize the elevator or go up stairwells 24/7. We also have security cameras throughout the building, and package lockers.

  • Apartments include induction stovetops, dishwashers, refrigerators, and combo convection oven/microwaves. Wifi is provided and available for each apartment. Utilities are included in the rent cost as well. Each floor has washers and dryers available for use, and lounges on floors 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and a full lounge and kitchen on 10.

  • Vi Hilbert allows for Emotional Support Animals and Service Animals with approval. Water-bound fish are also allowed in certain sized tanks based on SU’s code of conduct guidelines. Other pets are not allowed.

  • There are no pet fees for ESAs/Service animals, or fish.

  • Yes! You can email the Vi Hilbert team to gain card access to the bike storage in the garage.

  • We do not have storage available.

  • No – and Seattle U is a no-smoking campus. Residents can leave the building and smoke on 12th Ave or Madison St, outside of the campus

Application Process

  • Student applications will require a guarantor/co-signer, or an approved I-20 document for international students. We will process your application and collect paystubs/financial information in order to submit final approval and send your lease.

  • Applications can typically be approved within a few days as long as there are no delays in the processing but can vary depending on individual screening!

  • Yes, all of our apartments are furnished. We provide a twin XL sized bed and frame, desk and desk chair, and wardrobe in each room. 1-, 2-, and 4- bedrooms have a couch and media stand provided as well.

  • All lease terms follow a year-long cycle starting in September and ending in August (with exceptions for some graduate Law spaces). Whenever you start a lease, the end date will be in the follow August.

  • You can submit an interest form through our website, Vi Hilbert Hall, and we can work with you to place you in an open room. We do not hold apartments for longer than a week without an application or lease, however. Pre-leasing for the next term will begin in January.

  • Prior to move-in you will need to pay your $300 security deposit. There are no other move-in charges outside of your monthly rent amount.

  • You will be charged a cleaning fee at move-out that is priced directly from our janitorial vendor.
